In her former career N.M. Silber was an attorney with the Defender Association of Philadelphia. She is also a former associate editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce and the author of several nonfiction articles. She has taken her experiences as a criminal defense lawyer and used them as a starting point to build a humorous cast of characters and create a world of contemporary romance that includes love, lust, laughter, law, and some really hot sex.
