How do you come up with character names?  How do you come up with novel titles?
Novel titles usually just come to me. Often, they come first and the book comes second! As for character names, they usually present themselves to me, too. I only have to look up names for secondary characters using baby names sites. My main characters already know who they are. :)

Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?
Just write. Don’t get caught up in publishing and sales and what everyone else around you is doing.

What is your favorite fairy tale? What do you love about it?
The Little Mermaid (Disney-style!) I’ve always loved mermaids, and I actually have plans for a mermaid trilogy down the road that will take place in the same world as MerQueen.
